Q1: MOORE, Tara (GBR) 396 (CH=145 2017) v VIKHLYANTSEVA, Natalia (RUS)  3 164 (CH=54 2017) 

They played twice in 2016 winning one each

 

Q1: BAINS, Naiktha (GBR) 11 265 (CH=199 2020) v WAGNER, Stephanie (GER) 316 (CH=263 2020)  

 

NB. No draw has been published yet, these are from the order of play.

Well done Tara!! I don't remember seeing her on our favourite's lists? She must have been there at some point. I really like her.

 She lost in her Qf group to Cam and Katie, having come second to Liam in the opening round group. So she was in the 11th to 15th bracket overall if you like!

Shame that Naiktha couldn't win that one as it would have guaranteed us a qualifier in the main draw. Hopefully, Tara will make it anyway.

Well done Tara a good earner as well playing singles. Wont get that pay from doubles, good to see she still has ambition as a tennis player

Super singles win for Tara, and it looks a decent chance to get into the MD. While I have no issues at all with Tara and Emina having been putting as much emphasis on doubles as they have been, it remains really good to see how Tara's singles form has been picking up and now having such a good win here.

Tara's prize money this year for completed tournaments up to 17 Oct
Singles $1,853
Doubles $42,325

I think its very clear which discipline she'll get better pay from.

I think its very clear which discipline she'll get better pay from.

Tara gets into quite a few singles tournaments by being onsite for the doubles, it could be a good strategy for others at the beginning of their career.
