I was rather surprised to see her name down for this event. She usually plays clay court events and there was a $25K event in Seville not far from her home in Gibraltar.

Absolutely. She's currently WR 203 on 444 points, will add just a net 4 points from here but has nothing to drop for the rest of the year. The current live ranked 200 is on 461 points.
