Sonay doesn't appear to be entered in any ITF tournaments in the near future, and I presume that she may be playing the UK Pro Series Week 9 next week (if she gets back in time !), and the Finals week starting 8th November.

She's played remarkably little ITF tennis at all. A moan that several of us were having a few months ago.
These two events are her first two since 2019.
I assumed it was something to do with covid, and travel.
And maybe not having a coach/family member to travel with (she's young).
Of course, it might be that they thought the UK Pro League was all that was needed.
And maybe it's an Emma Rad sort of approach - you don't need to go our and slog the miles, just practice and then turn up and play great here and there.
Pro League plays considerably more. Sonay has won $1,470 (gross) for reaching the final, and the winner gets $2,352.
She will probably get as much as that for just turning up at for finals week. I haven't seen the actual figures published anywhere for this year.
Sonay says that she chose UK Pro as match practice, having been injured, and doesn't mention the money (although a newspaper interview doesn't really cover everything, and she might have been guarded with her answers)
Kartal, who competed at Finals Week of last seasons UK Pro Series in Weybridge, added: For me, the Pro League has been really beneficial.
Ive used it as match play to put my body under the stress of going abroad and playing tournaments, to make sure when I play them Im fully fit.
Theyre good, guaranteed matches. Its unique and its definitely helped me a lot.
