Andy, i imagine will be happy that after a few close run things, he finally has managed to get the better of one of the current top ranked player, even if, as its been mentioned, it does not do a whole lot for his points tally. I guess he'll just have to beat the next guy too.
5 non seeds only left in last 32 - which is pretty wild. No easy path here
Though rather more understandable than at the Slams with the seeds starting in R2 where it is then 32 matches of seeds vs non seeds, albeit the non seeds will have played and won one match beforehand.
I recall the old whole tournament prediction contests when it was often difficult to make much case for a particular non seed to beat a seed. Though inevitably there will always be some who come through. I don't know how it tends to average out at Indian Wells and Miami.
