Good memory HarryGem. Yes, she was up to WR231 (according to the article below) when she had a serious knee injury, and Svitolina did pay for the operation. She certainly looked better than WR509 today, once she cut back onthe errors.

You're on the right person Harry. She had some great results as a 15/16 year old, beat Naomi B a couple of times (when her stock was still reasonable), and a few other Brits, gave Katie S a walkover at a W25 event (due to that injury), and hasn't been the same since, and has had a very poor year.

The fact that Emily was just over evens to win this match is a sad reflection of the situation, and probably taken to 3 sets as well:
