I know nothing at all about Anna Brogan - was she a decent junior and has she done much previously at senior level? I am presuming she has been injured?

Good showing this week it seems and good for her!
She has a junior CH of 166 but more impressively a senior CH of 564 in June 2015 at age 17! She is now 24.
She reached the Wimbledon junior doubles SF with Freya Christie in 2015.
I don't really know the story since but she was clearly a real prospect.

After a brief rain break Anna takes the second set 6-1.
Projected ranking will now be around 1350 or so.
OER has her at live 1338 including 4 points here but shouldn't that be 5 points as she came through qualifying?
If she should have in total 7 points from 3 counters that would have her much closer to 1300.
OER has yet to be updated, so another point to go on as you say. The new total will put her somewhere in the mix of those on seven point, which runs from 1294 to 1334, but as she only has three counters, probably close to Jasmine at 1306

As Indy says, Anna was one of 'THE group of young hopefuls'. With Katie Swan, Jodie, Maia, Freya, Ali Collins, Ema Lazic, Gabi Taylor, Eden Richardson, Georgie Axon, Emily Arbuthnott etc. etc.
There was a great fanfare when she beat the top seed in Junior Wimbly back in 2017 or whenever (I think she won another round and then went out).
I seem to remember she then got disenchanted with tennis, or had certain personal problems with it (i.e. not an injury, just wanted a break from the stress and lifestyle etc).
Anyway, if she's back now, that much older, and sorted, and wants to give it a try, and is enjoying it, then that's really brilliant. If she's also playing well, then that's even better

Just looked it up, that #1 seed was none other than Marketa Vondrousova! She ended up losing to Anastasia Potapova, who won the entire tournament.
