A 16 year old ranked 647 ? Younger and higher ranked than Matilda ? Can't be an easy draw, but then Matilda is on the way up as well.

They have both moved up roughly the same amount of places in the rankings since that meeting as IK was ranked higher back then as well, and her form may have been slightly better in the months between, although Matilda is starting to pick up a little now. Odds are similar to how they were back then with Matilda the circa 1.30 fave.

Kruger basically seems to have made the decision to play only adult tennis, and has been very successful in reaching a whole load of quarter finals (she thrashed Naomi Broady a while back).

But there's no real wins of note.

And the losses to the decent players are quite emphatic.

NB Lovely livestream there today coz (a) it's sunny (b) the court is really nicely coloured and clearly demarked and (c) the girls have completely different outfits (always helpful)
