Will Harriet get 30pts + 13pts for qualies or just the 30pts?

Was Harriet losing lots of points this week as well? Live Tennis.eu suggests her nett position is up just 18 points and a couple of ranking spots? Presumably she had to regain ground she would have lost without this win?

She gets the 13 plus the 30

Harriet's 18 points increase that Jon references from live-tennis appears to be just the 30 R1 win points minus her 16th counter of 12 points. She has nothing to come off otherwise so it should just be a case of replacing her 16th counter wirh any better score from this week.

Now we know that live-tennis is far from perfect at times but at least for a while the WTA rankings did indeed not give LLs both MD win points and FQR points.

Now I have something in the back of my mind that that may have changed so I'll leave it as I don't really know for now. I see emmsie says that yes Harriet does get both.

Harriet has no points dropping at the next rankings update. That live ranking site has been awry for a couple of weeks. I can't fathom what its doing for Harriet, but for some other players, Fran and Jodie for example, it seems to have halved or dropped 2020 ITF points for week ending 13 September 2020.

Copied from WTA rulebook (page 149):

d. Lucky Losers earn Main Draw ranking points based on the highest round reached in the Main Draw plus the ranking points earned in Qualifying, unless they lose in the first round of the Main Draw, in which case they receive only the ranking points earned in Qualifying.

(I too used to believe the WTA only gave main draw points to lucky losers but looked it up fairly recently when someone on here or elsewhere stated otherwise. I suspect they have changed the rules at some point in the last few years)

Don't take me as the grail, I'm going by Emma getting 2040 pts for US Open. Harriet won a qualifying match so got 13 pts for that, can't see why she would get the 13 + 30 for today, they're matches she won.

She didn't get FQR points, just the points from qualies 1st round which was 13, I can't remember what the nett gain was though.

Yes, I've looked that up about lucky loser points before. I downloaded all the rulebooks at the start of the year.
