She lost the first set 1-6 but stayed with Cabrera well in the second set 5-5

Tara got two sets points when serving for the set but got broken, went to a tie break, saved a match point and won the tie break. smile

Tara was *40-0 up in the first game of the third set but then hit some DF trouble ( DFs having seemed much more under control ) and was broken. It's now 2-5*

She was 0-40 down at *4-5. Took her third set point after saving a break point.

Had a medical timeout at *6-5. Her right calf was already quite heavily strapped.

There are some tough Q/LL spots in the draw. hopefully Harriet will dodge the worst ones if she makes it through

Harriet started slowly going 1-5 down before winning 4 games in a row to level the score. Having done all the hard work she lost her next service game and then the set. 5-7 *0-0

Oddly Harriet is doing better with her 2nd serve (58%) than her first serve (38%).
