I am not sure if this affects any of the entries, it says they have altered the entry list logic going forwards and w.c. 27th September entry lists (not sure which week of play they would impact, possibly guessing this week in this thread?) will be re-ran - any of our players impacted?

Think I understand this. So points will last for 52 weeks even if the 2020 tournament happened in week 45 and in 2021 week 30? Whereas they were proposing for the tournament to come off when the next one was played?

Interesting, thanks Jon. It doesn't appear to effect many tournaments but certainly at least the mentioned ATP 250 Nur Sultan ( points came off on 27/9 after the 2021 renewal but the 2020 event was played in late October ) and ATP 250 Sofia ( points came off on 04/10 after the 2021 renewal but the 2020 event was played in November ).
As far as I can see none of our top 20 ranked singles players have had any change to their ranking points. Kyle has dropped one place from WR 103 to 104 presumably due to someone else's retrospective points increase.
5 of our top 10 doubles players have had an increase in ranking points for now.
Nur Sultan : Luke adds a net 20 points.
Sofia : Net points additions of 205 for Jamie and 160 for Neal ( the 2020 champions ) plus 22 for both Ken and Jonny. Note that Ken and Jonny won Sofia 2021 last week and were partners for a QF there in 2020 and for now count both the 2020 and 2021 points.
Some very slight ranking position changes.
No mention of ITF events and that makes sense since all these points have been coming off on the anniversaries of being added irrespective of when 2021 tournaments are staged.

Basically yes and that proposal is what they have been doing recently and have retrospectively sorted. And now these points will drop after 52 weeks.

Not directly related but Andy has now fallen on live-tennis.eu to 184 ranking with his points coming off from last year
