Katie withdrew from Portugal, not sure when but I'm certain she has made IW qualifying although whether she goes or not remains to be seen.

Emma is still showing on the qualifying lists I'm seeing while Katie is now showing as 1st Alt. So once Emma has/is withdrawn from the Q list then by my reckoning Katie is into IW qualifying.

Qualifying starts Monday, so I would think that the draw won't be made until Saturday at the very earliest, if not Sunday.

Interesting to see that currently the ATP qualifying cut off for Indian Wells is around 280 while the WTA one is about 170. I think the draws are the same size? Few ways of looking at this but Id say the main takeaway is the difference in the earning opportunities are between the WTA and the ATP that when the money on offer is the same it means more to the WTA side.

I suspect thats more to do with number of tournaments, the women have IW and 1 60k that week both in the US and the men have IW and 4 challengers, 3 of which are in Europe, both have 4 x 25k.

Emma is still showing in Qualifying on Dartsrankings but another seven have withdrawn for various reasons so Katie is definitely in Qualifying.

Of interest Jodie is now 15th on the Alt list!!

Jodie withdrew from a tournament that week so I did wonder yesterday if there was a possibility she'd get in. Technically she's 14th alt as Emma still hasn't been removed and there's still plenty of WCs to be handed out so Jodie will move up atleast into single figures. Wonder if she has taken a punt and got a flight.

Jodie has just started hitting again for the first time in 5 weeks so I very much doubt she has any plans to travel to IW.
