She could do with a proper break and getting that arm sorted. It's been taped and causing her issues for months.
Yes got to feel that she'd get back into the top 100 if she could have a decent period properly fit and well.
Got to agree with both of these statements.
I didn't think the body language was that great this evening. Not much spark and didn't look like she believed she could win. One or two very decent forehands but her serve was off and too many unforced errors. Her arm was clearly bothering her. She kept rubbing it during the changeovers.
Showing as 13:30 on prime now, and also on sofascore. The WTA doesn't have an order of play for today on its website yet, and I can't find the english version of thw tournament website.
QF:- Emina Bektas (USA) / Tara Moore (GBR) CR257 (128+129) LOST TO Anna Kalinskaya (RUS) / Tereza Mihalikova (SVK) CR287 (123+164) 4-6 3-6
Ah pity.
Tara's 60 points here replace a 50 which was her bottom counter though one of her 50s was due to be halved.
So week on week she will 'just' be up 10 points. All her 11 counters will remain between 50 and 110, to now total 775.
It's not been going badly at all when your 11 counters are all 50 points or more and 10 of these have been earned this year. It would be nice though to have a really big week ( and this week felt a possible chance ) to push above or at least match that highest 110 counter ( from her Prague WTA 250 SF the week after Wimbledon when reunited with Emina again following the grass season ).
Is Tara now a 'specialist' doubles player? She looks like she's having more fun when I watch her play doubles

Tara and Emina are specialist doubles players. They are "partners" (possibly married).
Tara has been sneaking up the GBR singles rankings. But I think the emphasis is on doubles (live ranking 125).
I'm pretty sure they are married now as Tara couldn't travel outside of the US while her green card was being processed and she wouldn't be entitled to one unless they were married (unless things have changed)
