Phenomenal win from our new clay court specialist 6-3 3-6 6-1! Albon absolutely fell apart in the third under solid pressure from Beth, her smash on match point pretty much hit the back fence.

Good stuff. That seems to have been coming. Lovely to see Beth finding such sustained form. She will be comfortably back into the top 500 in the rankings. Keep on rising!

This tournament is in the most stunning setting, and they've really gone in hard at the club with music, drinks, food, parties and everything. Looks lovely.

Both singles matches on the order of play today, plus the two remainng doubles QF - of interest purely because either Eden or Beth will play one of those four pairs in the final.
