Joe and Desirae almost lost the opening set, Polasek was serving for it and out of the blue served a series of doubles and errors. Let off the hook, they now seem on top.

Im watching Brooksby and Karatsev on court 17 - I must say, its a great court. Perfect size, atmosphere seems electric all the time and most of the best matches seem to have been on 17.

I saw that Desirae and Alexa play doubles together, which is great - presumably the 4 of them and others hang out together at tournies like this a fair bit.

Would be good to see our Brits play again in the semis, being honest I dont fancy Neal and Alexa to beat Pegula and Krajicek, think the Americans will be too strong (Pegula mainly) but do expect Joe and Desirae to win.

 Sadly was correct for once in my life . Lets hope Joe can go further
