Live tennis points seem to suggest winners here just get 1000 points . Is that correct ? I remember last year that was the case, but why this year?

It's 2000 points, according to the ATP rulebook. Same points as the singles.

Evo retired, thigh problem like he had yesterday in the singles.

Stupid decision to play really, I'm sure he did it against his better judgement to help his mate.

Pity Evo had to back out and hope the is OK for singles, but it wasn't before Lloyd hit one of the most strange winners of the tournament.

Evo served and the return was semi shanked and completely skied. It just cleared the net before spinning back over the net, but the bounce was so high, Lloyd had time to run around the net post and hit the winner from the opponents side of the court.

Enjoy.

That is just mad!  Thanks for posting the link.

I hope Dan's injury won't compromise his performance today.
