Wandered onto the doubles thread (a rare event) just to say - brilliant tournament for the two British men - real proponents of the doubles game. And the 'proper' one, not the 'fun' mixed thingy (which I actually quite like). I don't care who wins so good luck to both - this would be the number one focus in normal times - but Emma times are not normal times Sorry, lads, but have a good final !

So, the big doubles final starts in 45 mins or so.

I realise one of the sites lets you find this out, but have Jamie/Bruno played Joe/Rajeev before?

Who do folks want or expect to win? I think Joe and Rajeev will win but want Jamie and Bruno to take this one. Let's see!

I'm rooting for Joe and Rajeev. I feel Joe has been seriously underrated by all the press and pundits despite the fact that they have consistently had good performances at almost all the slams. Jamie got far more attention when he was winning a few years ago.

Go and win both the men's and mixed titles, Joe!

Not that I will really mind if Jamie & Bruno emerge victorious.

Joe gets early second set break. 2-0 up now. Cant watch - were off to Aldi!- but it looks like this could go either way. Anyone watching, whats the match like ?

Joe & Rajeev too strong - s!  smile

Final:  (4) Rajeev Ram (USA) & Joe Salisbury CR 13 (7+6) defeated (7) Jamie Murray & Bruno Soares (BRA) CR 33 (22+11) by 3-6 6-2 6-2

A valiant effort by Jamie & Bruno.

Brilliant for Joe and Rajeev! And hard
Luck Jamie and Bruno

But great result overall for the Brits in doubles, the summer has been less than good to date so this turns it around massively !

Congrats to Joe and Rajeev!
They had too much for Jamie and Bruno today, but a great tournament for them too.
