I thought this was the men's doubles, not the mixed...  wink

It was very mixed - but they got there in the end. Mea culpa my typing is getting worse.

Joe and Jamie's semis arent until tomorrow from what I can see of the schedules.

Looking at the rankings, I cant recall what Jamie was defending but he is static currently at 22. He and Bruno are however back to 9th in the Race and a win will take them top 8; he will also go back above Neal and into the top 20 live rankings if they win their semifinal. Jamie also appears to look like he will lose 320 points or so in around 4 weeks - I cant recall what that was that will be coming off, presumably a 500 level event from Asia a couple of years ago? Neal loses 260 at the same time so must have been with them as a pair together

Joe about to start

Querrey and Johnson are dangerous. As a pair, they reached SF of US Open 2015; theyve reached Miami and Cinci SF's in the past as a pair; Johnson played the Cinci final a week or two ago with Krajicek.

I reckon Joe and Rajeev will win but also think we are looking at a 3 setter with a tie break or three in it.

Polasek and Peers who play Jamie and Bruno are strong - Polasek won the Aussie this season with Dodig and Peers has a slam title to his name also. He had good success with Jamie in fact and then possibly more with Henri Kontinen. Jamie and Bruno looked sharp in their QF but I cant help but think Polasek and Peers will take this one, again in 3 sets

0 aces to eight, one DF to five!

Final:  (4) Rajeev Ram (USA) & Joe Salisbury CR 13 (7+6) vs (7) Jamie Murray & Bruno Soares (BRA) CR 33 (22+11)

Divided loyalties time!  hmm I guess I kind of lean towards wanting Jamie to pick up one last Grand Slam title...
