RE: Week 34 - (ITF W15) - Wanfercee-Baulet, Belgium Clay

She can't have been that bad if they took Emily+ to a tie break. Younger than EWS.

But well done Emily+.

First set didn't go too well, but she was leading all the way in the second. Final set has started with 4 breaks of serve *2-2

Worth about 20 ranking places, another win would see her at about 1000 biggrin

Though Emily's 3 points so far here won't be added until the 13/09 post US Open rankings. And then she is due to drop 10 points (4+4+2) in respect of 2019 ITFs ( or 50% of these points if that is what the WTA are still doing then? )

There are no 2020 WTA points dropping because points added 52 weeks ago were from Cinnci which dropped this week and both WTA tournaments being played this week are new. There are no 2019 WTA or ITF points being dropped because 104 weeks ago was 2 September - the middle of the US Open when no rankings update was published.

Indy - ITF points are being dropped at 50% until the end of the year.

QF:- Emily Arbuthnott (GBR) / Chelsea Vanhoutte (BEL) CR1312 (627+685) [1] def Agustina Chlpac (ARG) / Annemarie Lazar (GER) UNR (1220+UNR) 6-2 6-2

SF:- Emily Arbuthnott (GBR) / Chelsea Vanhoutte (BEL) CR1312 (627+685) [1] v Julia Kimmelmann (GER) / Eva-Maria Riml (GER) UNR (758+UNR)

Julia is a regular partner with Anna Popescu, so has plenty of experience at this level.

Thanks re WTA rankings continuing to drop ITF points at 50%. Is that for both 2019 and 2020 points? The ATP are now taking 100% off for all so will sooner get back to a 52 week ranking period.

Re Emily's points to come off, I said that she has points due off on 13/09, ie when the points from here are added. I agree that none are due off this coming Monday, 30/08.
