Is that because of cooler conditions or higher stakes?

Both I would think.

A lot of the ret this week will be due to saving for us open and more money.

Chicago has managed its 5th retirement . Walkovers and retirements now total 19 in the North America Hardcourt season. Martincova has given a retirement in Montreal as well.
