Apologies, with the WTA site down the entry list on tennisteen still has her listed as an alt and TF had her as alt#1. I hadn't been paying attention to WC announcements.

No apologies necessary - I only knew because I looked at the USO website to see when the draws were being made.

Really! Can she request a WC to every grand slam from now on or is there a limit to how many as she won't be getting DA into slam MD anymore. If she isn't prepared to go through qualifying (which I can't see her getting through without a fortuitous draw anyway) and she can't request WCs then this is it.

As a former Grand Slam Champion, she can request Wild Cards into slams - and practically all WTA tournaments with no limit. That's how I read the rules, anyway.
