Heather wins 5-7 6-2 6-2.

Well done. Didn't unravel at a set and a break down, kept it tidy and solid, backhand worked nicely, and her serve was really looking good by the eye. Pleased for her.

They played twice in 2019 with Rebecca winning both in two.

 Siniakova is down on the results draw sheet as being withdrawn for a travel issue.

 As mentioned Siniakova was actually in the qualifying draw. However there is still time for withdrawals in the main draw.

Siniakova was a long way off the main draw. Vekic would have been the one to be moved up if anyone had wd from the md before quali.

But as mentioned above, shes withdrawn due to a a travel issue - not to move to main drawvisa not processed maybe or Covid perhaps, not having correct papers

Not she didn't Peter! Wishful thinking!

Had 30-15* at 4-4 but played a poor service game at *4-5 to drop the second set. Very little in this but Peterson dug in well kn that set. Heather needs to do the same here.

I was watching the scoreline on Bet365 and the gave the score as 6-4 6-4, with the previous point at 3 match points, they then took the match off as they always do when one has finished.
