Some decent point play from Emma, hitting some nice backhand winners and trying to control points. Her opponent gave a few loose errors / a DF in the breaker.

Given my last post re this match was re Emma having lost a game in which she had served 3 DFs, I thought I would add a slightly more positive one.

Still only 4 DFs in total, and rather more importantly *5-2 up in the 2nd set, having just dropped 1 point on serve in the set. I am quite optimistic

Solid win from Emma, some nice backhand winners. Forehand is a bit messy. But otherwise a good win! So glad to see her build up these wins after Wimbledon, this is exactly the kind of tournament she needed.

Great win, the sort that tells us she's really on the right track. Bonaventure a very solid top 150 opponent. And Julia yes, Landisville is a lovely tournament
