Katie lost by 6-3 6-3. Ended up as 'just' 7 DFs in the first set and 3 more in the second and she did serve 2 aces. Hopefully more general rustiness than anything else.

Not a very surprising result, an actual clay courter against someone with Katie's experience and affinity for the surface? Hopefully these weeks are a good opportunity to work on a few things and get match fit at least.
