Great week from Harriet. Hope she can continue this form through to the US Open.

Much better scoreline than I feared

Good to see her make it close, hopefully she will pull this into the next week or two. Is Harriet in Cinci qualies or somewhere else ?

I think you answered that question in the entries thread yesterday wink

Did I?! Heck! My brain is frazzled ! Ill go and check what I said as I have no idea !

They're dropping like flies in Cincy, wouldn't be surprised to see her sneak in there.

I just checked three live-ranking sites, and for once they are almost in agreement with Harriet up 20 places to WR152.

So can anyone tell me what will be the first tournament that this ranking will apply for entry ?

PLEaSE give harriet her coffee.

Just to clarify, Harriet asked the umpire for someone to bring her a coffee. After some time and a few reminders she was told it was against Covid restrictions , because it would have to be opened by someone.........

That's a bizarre request mid match, must be feeling the jetlag

If you wanted caffeine, wouldn't a Coke have done?

Wonder if that's hevs first pro double bagel in singles or doubles?

I've looked through Heather's singles career on tennis abstract and she has never been double bageled in a singles career going back to 2009.

I've just looked through her doubles career on the ITF website, which goes back to March 2009 - and no double bagels. A handful of singles each way, but no doubles.

Must be pretty unusual in doubles, unless it involves wild cards way out of their depth.

Tara will now have earned more doubles ranking points this year than any other Brit. And she's still involved here of course.

She probably wouldnt  want the sugar or the nasty artificials in the diet variety.

Jo struggling as usual against Svitolina. Game just doesn't match up well against her even when she is playing at a much higher standard than she has the past couple of years.

*1-4
