Other events, 2021 - week 30

I may have missed some, but looking across the lists, we seem to have:

J5 Tajikistan - Zach Stephens into the last 16

J5 Croatia - Fabio Nestola into the last 8

J3 Bogota - Will Jenkins lost first round

J5 San Marino - Nicholas Philibert lost round 2

J3 Prague - Eva Shaw and Ranah Stoiber are yet to play but both seeded

J3 Poland - Matt Rutter is into Round 2, Freddie Ridout lost his opener

Am I missing any??

Two three-setters for the girls in the J3 in Prague.

Ranah ended up losing hers. But Eva got the win in hers.

in the doubles, as far as I can tell, we just have Eva and Ranah playing, they are both in the Prague doubles semis with different partners

Just a side note (and a hat tip) to 12-year-old Hannah Klugman who, as an unseeded player, is on a 10 match winning streak after winning the Cat 3 U14 level tournament in Edinburgh earlier this month, and now reaching the final (without dropping a set) in the Cat 2 U14 event in France.

Hannah looks to be another to watch as she develops into the junior ranks.

Good spot, LordB.

Hannah K is a real starlet.

That recent adult title she took was a statement of things to come

A great summary from Steven about Hannah's exploits, as highlighted above by LordB

Congratulations to 12-year-old wild card Hannah Klugman, who scythed her way through the field at the Tennis Europe U14 event in Annecy this week and today upset top seed Scarlette Hetherington FRA (who also has a British connection - her father) 5&0 to win the title!

This prompted me to check and yes, at the Tennis Europe U14 event in Annecy, 12-year-old Hannah Klugman got a wild card then thrashed:
- a DA 1&0
- no. 13 seed 2&1
- no. 3 seed 1&0
- no. 7 seed 0&1
... then beat the no. 2 seed 7-6(4) 6-1 to make the final! twitter.com/pandsreid/stat
