Disappointing way to end the week, but still a good one.

She had 3 points for *5-2 second set, 2 for 5-3*, a point for *5-4. All things considered I'm impressed the third wasn't a blow out. But created all the chances she needed to win that one.

Imagine how far she could go if she stopped being her own worst enemy.

At least this time there wasn't a third set collapse. Overall a good week.

People are being a bit harsh about Jodie recently - she's not the first player to be temperamental on court, and far from the worst.

It's not that she's temperamental, it's that she falls to pieces at the same time and invariably loses the match because she mi**** a couple of shots and couldn't regroup.

Yes, no one's complaining about being temperamental.

But Jodie self-destructs, time and time again. Over nothing.
