It would be really good if Jodie and Naiktha could bring themselves further into US Open qualifying contention. 

With Jodie and Naiktha currently GB #9 WR 260 and GB #10 WR 271 respectively, if all fit, we seem to have 2 for the MD ( Jo and Heather ), 4 definites for Q ( Harriet, Fran, Emma and Katie B ) and 4 more at least in the Q conversation ( Sam, Katie S, Jodie and Naiktha ).

Though I see that Katie S GB #8 WR 254 is due to drop a total of 21 points over 26/07 and 02/08 so she may be becoming a bit of an outsider ( pity that she's had such disruptions when seeming to find real form ).

 By my reckoning a place in the SF for Jodie puts her on the bubble, a place in the final will see her into US Open quialification, Naiktha needs to go 1 further so a place in the final is on the bubble and a win will see her qualify. I can't see Katie making it now, she really needed to playand do well this week.

Naiktha appears to have a walkover into the QF according to the draw (doesn't say walkover, but she's through).

 I think you do as long as you have already won a match in a previous round, if you get a WO in your 1st match then nul points
