These two 60ks have been a great choice by Fran. After a slow few months - picking up all these points in depleted fields is only going to serve her well over the coming months. Well done Fran!
Good stuff. Fran continues to push up her CH and is a QF win away from going GB #3 ahead of Harriet.
Playing a lot of tennis, which is good to see, and is down for a 60K and a WTA 250 over the next 2 weeks. But if she goes very deep again here maybe time for a well earned rest.
where will she have reached live ranking wise now, Indy?
Hmm, I 'think' she will so far be up a net 9 points to about live 175 on 438 points ( with a further 17 points for a QF win taking her to 455 points, ahead of Harriet's 452 points ).
This appears that it will agree with OER once her L16 win points are added there.
live-tennis though is showing 48 points less, ie. live 190 on 390 points. This appears to be deducting her 57 ( net 48 ) points from a WTA 125 Prague QF added in September 2020 so appears to be seeing this current Czech W60 as replacing that WTA 125? That all seems rather strange and OER shows 13.09.21 as when last year's WTA Prague 125 points are due off.

I really don't understand why Harriet isn't playing yet. I know someone will tell me it's all about choosing the right tournaments for her schedule but surely but having such a long break means she'll lose all the momentum from that great run in the mixed doubles? By all means take a week off but as far as I can see she's not scheduled to play until 31st July. Meanwhile Fran is picking up points left right and centre and good for her.
I watched a bit of the second set and Fran didn't seem to have her usual weight of shot so I thought she might tired from her busy schedule. Having said that I thought her opponent looked pretty useful with good movement and a decent leftie serve.
