and Max Purcell defeats FAA 64 76. What an opportunity for Purcell and such a disappointment for Andy.
Definitely, FAA is a player who seems to lack confidence in tight moments, evidenced by his performances in losing finals and generally in slams, and Olympics would follow that trend - Andy would have won this one
L64: (ITF) Liam Broady WR 142 defeated Francisco Cerúndolo (ARG) WR 116 by 7-5 6-7(4) 6-2 in three hours & three minutes
L64: Andy Murray WR 104 vs (9) Félix Auger-Aliassime (CAN) WR 15
Andy, as has already been reported, withdrew from the singles with a slight thigh strain & was replaced by the Aussie alternate, Max Purcell, who proceeded to beat FAA by 6-4 7-6(2)!

L32: (ITF) Liam Broady WR 142 vs (7) Hubert Hurkacz (POL) WR 12 (CH = 11 two weeks ago)
I don't really understand why the Beeb etc are so slow in reporting Brits if they aren't already well known. Would it just have killed them to mention Loan and Cam who have both had significant wins today. Grrrr.
