Very odd to see her playing again only a few days after retiring from her last match

She's not on today's OOP, so another day to recover. Still seems a bit soon since last Friday's retirement though.

Well spotted Indi. Liv withdrew from the alt list for singles a week ago, but was still on the list for Biarritz, so I was expecting her to appear there.

That's a shame but presumably she's almost fit enough to play again given she waited until the last minute to withdraw.

The doubles final has just begun. Note also that the Wimbledon girls champion Ane Mintegi Del Olmo has just won through to the singles final here - her best week on the ITF women's tour following her best on the junior circuit.

Thanks for pointing that out, David - I hadn't noticed it.

I thought Del Olmo was SO impressive at junior Wimbly - but it really puts into perspective how well Kylie did - she ran her very close, it was a super match. But the Spanish girl's weight of shot and placement, even when under pressure, was pretty amazing.
