Many thanks for the link.  I enjoyed watching it, although nail-biting at times.

 You're welcome.

I had to miss the second set. So pleased for Fran!

Yes, Fran! Brilliant. Great to see her continuing to improve and impress. She's got such a brilliant attitude, you get the impression that she'll make the top 100 one way or another.

The quiet surprise this year in British tennis has been...clay!

Very good. Always enjoy watching Ms. Jones play.

Amongst British women this century, only Konta, Watson, Broady, Keothavong & Bally have won a higher tier event than this.
Dunne, Boulter & Robson also won a $60K/W60, and Pullin won at the old $50K equivalent tier.

 Nice research!

Well done Fran. It's so good to see another young British player moving up the levels.

Have there been any other British clay court specialists before?

Great win for Fran after a lean few months and unfortunate draws at RG qualifying and Wimbledon.

Great stuff from Fran. Good to see her continued progression.

Exciting to see how Fran, Emma, Katie S and Jodie develop over the next 12 months

Amanda Carreras favours playing on clay.

 Thanks for that.

I not only think she has potential for top 100 but that she will be a strong advocate for British sport /tennis. A strong future ahead
