The score doesn't really reflect the match - despite winning the first set 6-0 Beth had 32 serves in just three games and saved three break points, so not quite firing today. Next match should be interesting.

Fran is top seed in the singles and will play a qualifier in R1.

Probably worth putting money on it !

Beth still having problems on serve. Double break down at 1-5*. 22 points in three games. Mind you, Mandy has had 20 points in her three service games, but we kind of expect that.

Beth has managed to level the match taking the second set 7-5

So is Beth playing out of her skin or Amanda having a bad day at the office?
