Doubt it would change anything, Jodie beats herself, a lower level would just mean losing to a lesser opponent. A few stray shots and she falls to pieces pretty much every time. As someone mentioned, she fell to pieces after a few bad serves so nothing to do with her opponent.

With a few points dropping off, I estimate Katie needs about 50 points over the next 4? weeks to get into qualifying, that would put her at around 300 points and somewhere in the region of WR230, Jodie doesn't have any points dropping that I can see so needs around 30 but now has 1 week less than Katie to accumulate those points. That would give us 2 in MD and 7 in qualifying which would be immense. Naiktha needs about 55 points but that's a stretch for her whereas the other 2 have more than enough ability to make it.

Saw a bit of this; Jodie was a lot better than Stosur which was the big surprise

Stosur is 99 in doubles and 165 in singles in this weeks rankings. And we know that Jodie CAN play to that level.

Very good for Tara & Emina, up to live ranked 155 and 152 respectively.

Tara close to her CH 151 from 2016 and just 32 points behind GB #2 Harriet.

So a SF win away from both a new CH and being GB #2. Tough looking task though.

Yes, looks a very decent scoreline and Tara has a couple of months more before she has any doubles counters due off. So that CH should come.
