2021 GB Player of the Month Thread Jul to Dec

after this week, July PoM period has 3 weeks left, finishing 1st August.

So lots to come, incl return of UK Pro League next week, I believe, and more.

Looking forward to a good rest of the month!

Remember, nominations here and anyone can nominate anyone they feel deserves it - there are no rules really, a nomination is like a really enthusiastic shout out for a job well done - can be a one off win, a one off week, or a series of great performances over the month. Your call. The vote decides who deserves it most so dont feel you need to stack someone up against those already nominated. If you feel someone has done a good job and deserves that enthusiastic shout out, then nominate them here!!

Regardless of the results in the matches later today, I nominate Joe. Doubles semis and mixed doubles quarters is a great achievement - and if he goes on to win the mixed then deserves a second nomination with Harriet.

Joe and Harriet in a final, Neal in the semis, Gordon in the final, Jordanne and Lucy also, and Alfie and Gordon in doubles, and Andy Lapthorne takes a doubles title. Nice weekend - may not be the blue riband events, but still nice to see

I was going to nominate Jack PJ if he had reached the Wimbledon juniors SF after his Roehampton title. But for now a non nomination I'm afraid.

If Harriet and Joe win th emixed I'll nominate but I've had then down to win from the beginning so anything less would feel ike a missed opportunity.

Yeah, I remember - a really great call, emmsie, no matter what happens in the final (well, an even greater call if they do win, of course, but you know what I mean )

And noting Joe is already nominated which doesnt affect joe and Harriet also being nominated but will make life interesting in our single group vote approach !

So looking to Neal, joe and Harriet, Gordon Reid and maybe Dan Cox to do the business today. No pressure folks. And clearly all cant win their finals !
