Matilda had a real chance at 5-4 30-15* but it was slammed shut. Played well, but important to remember her opponent is only 19 and streaks ahead - Matilda still has a lot of work to in the years ahead to get up to the level the best teenagers are already at.

I agree, PaulM. Matilda is doing well, and the LTA obviuosly are setting store by her, but she's quite a way off full adult level. Theres time though....

Jodie got broken from 40-0 up at *4-4. She saved a match point to break back, but was broken to 30 and lost 3-6 6-4 7-5. Sigh.
