Week 24 - Challenger 125 (€132,280) - Nottingham Trophy (grass)

Felix got pretty unlucky in his TB

Firstly he had SP and Bolt's ball 'may' have been long but wasn't called. Not 100% sure. But Felix thought so.

Then a rather mi**** ball of Bolt's went over, sat up high, and Felix chose A1 the wrong shot (not unlucky, I guess, his fault, but it was his point)

Given that Arthur also had a dead let cord in his TB at a key moment, the tennis gods could have smiled on our lads slightly more....

Get in there !!!!

Well done, Jay

That was tense at the end.

Cressy is a big guy, grasscourt game, forever pounding into the net, a big presence to get past.

Great win for Jay, should do him a lot of good

I know some of you do Twitter but others don't. There was a very funny response from Jay to a tweet by Steven yesterday which may have inspired Jay to his win today.

Steven's tweet

"Nottingham 2 Challenger: Just three Brits in the main draw here. (WC) @Jay27798 has drawn Maxime Cressy FRA WR 153 (=CH) in R1 - both are looking for their first win in five matches"

Jay's response

Any need for the last bit ?

Anton 6-3 *5-5

No breaks in the second set but Anton had at least one BP/MP in the last game there.

Correct me if I'm wrong but there are two Ymer's right? This is the older one that isn't as good as the younger one who has had some really exciting results on clay

There are 2 but this was the younger/ higher ranked one, although both are still ranked considerably higher than Anton.

ETA another win will put Anton mid 400s and around the same ranking as Arthur Cazaux who got a FO wc, I rest my casebiggrin (assuming he gets that win of course)
