It depends on your definition of best - whats best for one child in not necessarily best for another

IMO as your child is 6 and happy where she is I would keep her there for at least the next year or two unless there is a compelling reason to change?

Are you looking for 1:1 coaching or squads, aiming for performance or club level?

If you are close to Herts I would recommend Harry and Dom at BTA tennis, they run a number of squads for different levels and also do 1:1 coaching.  There is a great atmosphere and will be children of a similar age. They also run holiday camps. Harry coaches a number of performance and D1 college players.

If your daughter eventually goes down the performance route and is looking for performance squads (and indoor courts for the winter) then IMO Gosling Tennis Centre is great.
They have a number of strong female players and perf coaches eg. Dave Airey coaches Indiana Spink (D1 college player) and Jamie Fallis coaches Emily Arbuthnot (D1 college player) plus a number of the younger performance girls. They also have links with Queenswood School, so have a large number of girls aged 11-18 training at the centre - this can be important as many girls seem to drop out as they get older.

You should also include strength and conditioning and nutrition if you child goes down the performance route.

PS You might get more replies on the general thread? I for one rarely look at the Junior thread unless we know someone playing in a tournament  and its a quick way to follow their progress.

My 4 year old granddaughter has just started Tots Tennis with Harry - hes lovely with the little ones, patient and fun.
