We should have Heather and Jo and whoever gets the WC's. Harriet is currently in qualifying.

I guess winning a slam goes a long way even if you need an archaeologist to remember it

I assume she is getting Nottingham wildcard?

I think I would have preferred to see Katie stay at Nottingham. She loves that court and is playing well so arguably would have a better chance of picking up points there.

Depending on how Katie gets on later, she may get the SE and free up a WC

I don't think that's possible. SE is for qualifying and she is MDWC

Fran is seeded 12. Two rounds of quaifying, 24 draw, 6 to go through.

Edit - to add, Fran was the only Brit to be in qualifying in Nottingham, according to the latest acceptance list - others were all alts. Of course, that would have changed considerably by now.

Interesting the 400-600 lot have come here, rather than sneak into qualies in Notts (either with late withdrawals or wcs). But I guess they would still play a seed there with less prize money and 4 points if they sneak a win.

Any girls that are out of Birmingham before doubles sign in closes in Notts can go back there to play. So unless they get wildcards here, would anticipate Tara/Eden and SBG/EWS making a round-trip.

So presumably Jodie, Katie S, Sam and Matilda are the Notts MDWC? Going to be a jump in the deep end for any Brits that end up in qualies...
