There's a lovely shot of a tent on the BBC website !

Says 12:30 GMT, so 1:30 BST - looks optimistic to me

Surprised at the rain in Nottingham, weather like locally is fine. Looks ok in Leeds for the Triathlon as well.

It's absolutely glorious in Northumberland as well.

My attention has been elsewhere these past couple of hours, so I wouldn't have seen any of it anyway, but some of these players must think Nottm is just gloomy all the time, ha.

Hopefully they can get underway soon.

Had a short shower here in sunny Devon but has dried up really quickly as very warm

Jo has split with Zavialoff again. It does feel, and I don't mean this in bad way because it would understandable, that she is starting to look to the next phase of her life and so investing and shaping her team accordingly. There are a lot of players I thought might go after Wimbledon/Olympics/US Open this year, and Jo was someone I thought could be in that bracket if she was not back top 15 (and Heather is too). She's in a good place in her personal life, achieved a lot, and may well not want to tough it out at #50 for another 12 months.

Might if course be leaping to bad conclusions but just a thought.

Wouldn't be a huge surprise, over the last 2 years she has certainly been diversifying somewhat. A year of Covid has certainly given plenty of people the opportunity to reflect and see that the alternative to grinding it out making a living isn't that bad.

Where did you pick up the split from Zavialoff again from?

From Nottingham presser - Stuart Fraser from the Times reporting it among others.

I don't have a stream but my score feed has it going on now and Jodie up an early break.
