FOOTBALL: EUROS 2020ish

Anyone know if there is a highlights show ? I al looking for MOTD later, but other than a full match rerun between 02.00 and 03.30 Spanish time, I can't see anything.

ITV should have highlights if you can get that, maybe around 11pm UK time

10:45 to 12 on ITV in the UK

Or if you are desperate https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/european-championship/video

But it's only 3:35 minutes long !

So the Group of Death dies off as Germany exit along wirh France and Portugal after a certain Floppy Haired Prince comes on to have his say. And England and Ukraine leave these shores to head off to an appointment in Rome.

Still think 3-3s are much more fun

Good win today, weight of pass remains the key, Shaw just had to pull his foot back to play in Sterling and similarly Kanes goal a tap in. Still dont understand why we mess around with wingbacks that do sod all damage until you bring someone on who will play them in.

Tripier looking a bit worn out. Would stay with three at the back but use Saka as a wing back from the start, give him space to drive forward and give width. Play Grealish from the start on left and Sterling on the right against the Ukraine. However we are destined for a flat back 4 with mount at the tip of a midfield three, Sterling Kane & Foden.

Wishing the week away until Saturday

Was this the pass of the tournament, or am I a tad biased.

It's coming home.

Not sure about tournament but it was exquisite and Phillips once again played so solidly. hes made himself a fixture and its noticeable how its Rice who gets substituted each time as opposed to Phillips.

a final, who would have thought it - Italy a step up but its there to be won. Come on England !

Win or lose I hope England fans treat Italian fans respectfully tomorrow. Somehow , and sadly, I fear they wont.

Yes it's a pity and really disrespectful. It's not banter and quite right that the FA were charged by UEFA. Gee even the Danish anthem got it, if not as bad as the German. There has been much talk about the great atmosphere at Wembley but it's far from great at the anthems.

We can but hope ...
