bet365 title odds :

Swiatek 13/10
Sabalenka 9/2
Badosa 11/1
S Williams 12/1
Gauff 16/1
Svitolina 20/1
Muchova 25/1

33/1 bar

I'm amazed Kenin is not on that list

Kenin is 33/1, probably as her route may mean beating Swiatek in the QF and Svitolina or Gauff in the semi's

Could well happen. BTW Pegula is 80/1 overall - 22nd in the Bet365 list

She did also start at 100/1 at Bet365 before the draw was made, so was never an initial main contender from their perspective, even before her path was confirmed, but yes, her particular section has held up thus far, so should be pretty tough matches from here on in.

And now the 2nd favourite in big trouble here as well. Pavyluchenkova currently leads 4-0 against Sabalenka in the decider.

And Pav wins the decider 6-0

Leaves Sabalenka still to reach a Slam singles QF! I did think this might finally be the time in predicting her to reach the final but she again hasn't produced at a Slam.

Worse than that Indy, it was a bagel (just saw your edit). She was an absolute error machine in that decider. I guess from her POV, there is another slam starting in just over 3 weeks, and another shortly after that, so not like the AO or USO where there's months to have it on your mind, but her slam exits really are becoming a concern. A lot of wins coming into it, well rested, but just fell apart.

..... Margaret Court. I'm not sure of her relevance though.

Feeling confident Indy for a wager? If Serena doesn't win the whole tournament I'll leave the forum, but if she does win it then you leave?

I don't think Serena will win it but her chances have improved with Sabalenka's loss.

I've no intention though of making such a wager on a tennis prediction.

You get in there with the bookies though.
