I've been out of the UK for a few years so am not used to trying to follow the French on ITV (so far it seems that their coverage is pretty sucky in various ways) - is there no way I can see anything other than the one court they show live as they watch it? No way of seeing eg Sinner Herbert right now if I'd rather than than Swiatek's match at the moment? No highlights program or catch up? My free amazon prime trial the last week or two has given me expectations that are far to high it seems! Any advise on how to follow the action better is welcome!

It's on ITV4 and some may be on ITV main channel otherwise it's Eurosport in the UK

How's the eurosport coverage? Do they better at the choice of matches to watch and giving catch up options and highlights etc.? What does Eurosport cost to get these days - haven't had that since I nagged my parents to get it as a teen! (Still remember the first thing I saw on it was Rusedski v Becker at the Aus Open - great match!).

Sorry for the random side note to the thread topic - let me know if there is a better place for such questions!

GBJ - I'm not in the UK anymore so hopefully someone else can answer your questions. You're welcome :)

Also, this Twitter account tends to post the European rights to slams and larger tournaments. This is the tweet about RG coverage in Europe: mobile.twitter.com/Stroppa_Del/status/1398923740738621445

This website will tell you where to watch which tournaments, and the cost of subscriptions were needed.

Eurosport have the UK rights to Roland Garros. Eurosport 1 & 2 have the main coverage, and I believe ALL the other courts are on Eurosport Player.

Eurosport 1 showing hercog/mertens, so hopefully going on to Cameron 'a match.  Eurosport 2 showing heather's match. ITV 4 doing Swiatek/ Juvan. Eurosport 1 just confirmed Cameron match as kiki has lost.

I know some don't have Eurosport, while (pretty much) everyone (in the UK) has ITV4, but I really like how it currently is - British man on one of the main channels, British women on another, and then one of the defending champs on the third. Makes it much easier to switch between matches during breaks by pressing '120' '411' etc. (if on Sky platform) than loading up the Eurosport Player, taking longer to load when switching, some matches not having commentating, can record a match for future use etc. I can't even get the Eurosport Player on my main TV unfortunately - I'd have to go upstairs.

They are both providing a service, so no real need for ITV or Eurosport to have dialogue, but it's so much better when the same match isn't on 2 of the 3 main TV channels, as is normally the case.

Again, as with Vera Z the other day, I like to highlight when non-GB players have complete shocking chokes, or mentally fragile moments, because there's often a tendency to think it's a particularly GB thing when it happens to one of ours...

Well, PH Herbert has just played a completely awful game. Having missed a MP, with a very tight, horrible UE, he then served and shanked one ball and hit two really nasty DFs to get broken. He'd had a great breakpoint too a game earlier where it was all on his racket and he just choked, and let a volley go by which was an easy smash and he just prayed it would go out, instead of taking it.

And it's now a fifth set. And PH has only himself to blame.

Cam takes the opener 7-5 but closer than hed have liked. Really should be looking at straight sets in this

Yes, broken to 30 in the first game, broke straight back and broke again in game 12.

He has had further pressure on his serve though. Cam is 2/2 on BP conversions against 1/7.

Either channel works, best to put them both on mute though

Cam, having led 4-1* in the second set, was brought back to *4-4 and is now in a TB.

Yay, Cam 2 sets up, 7-5 7-6(5)

Picked up a drop shot at 5-5* and slid it nicely down the line then an ace to see out the set.

Cam is currently up to live 42, one place off his CH 41, and could theoretically take out his CH with a further win.

Dan, in spite of his defeat, is currently live 25 against his CH 26, due to Khachanov ( into R2 ) and Wawrinka ( not playing ) dropping their RG 2019 QF points. Very unlikely though that this will hold out to be a new CH.

L64:  Cameron Norrie WR 45 vs Lloyd Harris (RSA) WR 54 (CH = 50 last month)

Harris did for Sonego (26) in straight sets (5, 4 & 4).
