Sorry to spoil the joke, Steve, but it's Alcaraz - no "t".  wink

And anyway you just get on the ferry boat to get off Alcatraz. Been there, done it

Tears in my eyes as the crowd are shouting 'ENZO' and the 26 year-old lad who's never been in the Roland Garros MD, always failed at FQR level, and got a wildcard this year, has just won his first round match in three sets.

I do LOVE wildcard stories.....

Enzo Couacaud - what many would call a 'journeyman' - age 26, currently 171, career high of 164, basically a challenger player, who's always in the qualis of Grand Slams, but has never made it through, and never got an RG WC for some reason. Has had his fair share of injuries. And he comes from Mauritius, and is very proud of the place, (although plays for France)
It's no huge deal as a story, I guess, but it was a good match, it had a nice feelgood factor, the crowd were VERY into it, and the boy did good !

Dan has been distracted and his mind is not focused on the match.

Bit of a commentary play off on 5 live with Laura Robson and Naomi Broady on. Talking about seb korda, then naomi mentioned Petr korda and said, didn't he win the aussie open? Laura said, no he was runner up. But he did win it, 1998. I wish commentators would get facts right, not guess. It's so easy for rest of us to check.
