disappointing loss really - i know she hasnt played much but as top seed and an experienced player, I had hoped for more at this level

Yeah, a shame. Oksana must have her number after dropping no sets, and only 10 games in those two matches, and Amanda was a 3.50 or 5/2 pre match underdog. A long way from her 2019 form when she was reaching a number of W25 SFs - 2 points here and there for W15 QFs, or even 4 for a SF, isn't going to do her much good in terms of climbing the rankings.

Mandy's lowest counter at the moment is 4 points. She has three counters dropping off over the next couple of months, 30 points net 18 drop, so unless she starts getting wins at W25 level she may well drop out of the top 400. As it is, Emma is close behind her in the rankings and will hopefully be climbing anyway.
