Week 21 - ITF (W25) Otocec, Slovenia Clay

Big shot

You need to come down to the lowly ranks (2 x 10p at 10/1, took one off for 53 p and lost the other)

But pleased for her - it's so good to see her playing, and winning.

Happy medium - didn't bet on this one, but had a pound at 12/1 on her doubles the other day and cashed out at 6-50

Fiver on her opponent at 10/1 early in the second set down the drain

Ha I put £1.50 on her at 40/1 just because I thought the odds were so ridiculous. I should have cashed out for £15 mid way through the MTB but I didn't want to jinx it and see her come back and cause an upset which would have been a double blow. Although if it was easy as putting 10p on her opponent to make sure Em wins, I'd be delighted to lose the money!

Em has her singles and doubles tomorrow, if they are streaming the same courts as today her match with Beth will be shown. I think they have a nasty opener but interested to see how their games work.

Chance for Matilda to improve her doubles ranking, Without checking I think that Emily or Sara Beth would have to make the final.

Not the best start by Em, and it din't get much better.

Three consective DF in the final game suggests a lot of frustration.

Lost 6-4 6-3. About as expected really. Had points for 3-1* in the second. Disappointing day but neither loss feels particularly surprising.

Matilda will play her matches tomorrow. Raymond (and Kiick) ended up pulling out the doubles.

And lost the second. Looked up opponent, seems to be home from us college. Another advert for going to us.
