Entries Week 22 - 31/05/21

Thread opener, RG starts.

Not sure if Seagull is able to do his fabulous entry summaries currently, they are missed when not here,! But thought I would at least open the space!

I will post entries once all the ITF entries are confirmed. Only trouble with starting these early is that the full list ends up half way down the thread

Or on page 2 as is the case for the May 24th thread, although that is the start of a slam. It is quite good to have a bit of early discussion, but I guess 2 possible options could be either for seagull to open a string a 'placeholder' threads in advance (when they get the chance) and then edit the opening post as and when they would come to typing it up, or for Jon H to copy and paste into the OP once it is up?

didnt mean to cause confusion - i think my thought was at this time of year that early discussion is useful and i am happy to post the list into the original post when they appear - will do that now for 24/5 one

although, having done that, i dont necessarily have the ability to update it as appropriate and i guess seagull cant edit my op.

as and when seagull updates a later post i can always re post and update in the op...

in general terms, might be easier though for me to leave it going forwards and let seagull open up the threads - i guess it was usually that way til i interfered, sorry...

No need to apologise

I will open up threads in advance so I can post full list in first post when available but others can comment before that

Lloyd isnt entered - Matt Reid is with de Minaur and Heliovara isnt entered either. Not sure why Lloyd wouldnt enter, theyd have got in as a pair. Is Heliovara injured? Is Lloyd injured?!

Heliövaara took time out as his wife was due. He hinted that he and Lloyd would team up for the grass.

I'm glad Heliövaara took time out to be supportive of his wife, and baby, too. Very important. smile

"Adding a family and working out towards the grass season
Posted on May 23, 2021 by Harri

Lets start with that most important thing, our baby girl was born last week and the whole family
is now doing great! And, as is often the case in life, good things tend to follow each other,
that is, according to the latest information, it seems that the upcoming tennis grass season,
for my part, also includes Wimbledon. "

Translated from Finnish by Google.

There is more but I couldn't get it in English and my Finnish is not that great;
