British Tour 2021

How old are Hannah S and Ella McDonald? Ella seems to be doing well at the moment...

Michael Shaw will top the table in the British Tour now at season end with that loss for Kaminski

Edit - actually I might be wrong...

Before the event Shaw had 18363 points; Kaminski had 16961 and gets 1600 for a QF finish in a Premier event, so he will reach 18561

SO Kaminski should top the table at end of the Tour league season this weekend

Ella seems to be doing well - could we see her in some of GB ITF events next season giving it a go?

Mens field looks good. Who are the two players in ladies, Waas and Bassega? Both new to me!

You'll have seen Sirena Waas a lot recently - she's played a lot of the GB junior events - Liverpool, Loughborough etc.

Bassega is another junior, a little older, but has been a lot less active.

Apparently , the Tour Masters is now being played at Loughborough, not the NTC , this on the LTA site

PLEASE NOTE THIS EVENT IS NOW BEING STAGED AT LOUGHBOROUGH UNIVERSITY, AS PER EMAIL SENT TO PLAYERS MONDAY 13 DECEMBER 2021

Not sure if this is due to Omicron spreading quicker in London or some such?

Dan Cox is out. Wonder if Billy will rush back from Turkey for it.
Edit: Although Billy is on the entry lists hes not in the draw which have already been made.

Many thanks, cya !!

I'd looked at Sheffield and completely forgotten about the Premier Tier event - duh....

THere's some very interesting match-ups and players in the Loughborough event, including a lot of youngsters:

Women

Nice to see Amelia Rajecki back from college and playing here - she just took out Mimi Xu (born 2007) in a MTB
Millie Bissett seems to be back and playing after her recent retirement in Mexico, and won her first match easily (against Sirena Waas)
Hannah Klugman (born 2009) took out Nao Nishino (JWR 750 or so) pretty easily.
Freya won. As did Fran Davis, Jo Garland, Emma Wilson and Ranah (born 2005)

Men

I'm thrilled that Brandon is back playing, and winning - beat Dan Little (second seed and ATP 883) in two sets
Pleased to see Will Nolan , too, and with two wins
Luke Johnson has two wins
as does Dan (and the loss above)

and also Harry W and Mike Shaw

Jo Garland is a name Ive not seen in a while. I thought she had left the UK and was playing for Taipei?
