Windhoek, J5:

R1: (q) Josh Manuel (age 15) got a win in two over a main draw direct acceptance, so well done, Josh 

(PS that's Namibia, for the geographically challenged, like me) 

 

In the J3 in Turkey, Nicolas Philibert came through two rounds in qualis, and lost out to the top Q seed, 7-6(10) 6-1 (who was a wildcard and should have been in the main draw)

In the main draw, there's Matt Southcombe and Dean Kirby.

 

Israel, J4:

Harry Rock lost in QR2.

 

USA, J4:

Jaquelyn Ogunwale lost easily in R1 but got a win in the doubles  

 

Jade Cole is in the main draw in the Ivory Coast.

R1: A win for Matt Southcombe in three, and a loss for Dean Kirby.

Turkey, J3:

R2: Good effort from Matt against the 2nd seed, but he ended up losing 4-6 in the third.

However, Matt+ and Dean+ got wins in the doubles.


Namibia, J5:

Qualifier, Josh Manuel, also came very close to causing an upset, but lost to the 5th seed in three sets in the end.


USA, J4:

Jacqulyn O and partner are into the doubles SF

USA, J4:

Jacqulyn O and partner defeated the top seeds in QFs, and won their SF, and so are into the doubles final

Both our boys lost in their respective doubles QF, both in a MTB..... :(
