With no qualifying draw, it's easy points for the girls who are out in Ghana this week.

J5:

R1: Hep has a BYE through to R2. 

There were wins too for: 
Flora Johnson; Lucy Webber; and Lara Bakhaya

But Jade Cole retired half way through.

 

In Egypt, J4, Fabio Nestola lost in round one, but got a win in the doubles at least. 

There's a good batch of kids out in Tunisia, J5, too, which is still in the quali stage at the moment

Tunisia, J5:

In qualis Maria Ustic and Alaia Rubio Perez both won one match before losing in QR2. Anjali Kotecha lost in QR1.

Better news in the main draw though:

R1 wins for: Imogen Haddad; Roan Jones; and Will Jansen

Sofia Johnson and Tabitha Holmes still to play

In Egypt, J4, Fabio Nestola+ got anther win in the doubles and is into the QF

In Tunisia, J5, wins for Sofia Johnson and Tabitha Holmes in R1.

In Ghana, J5, R2, a win for Hep but Lucy lost.

Unfortunately, both Lara and Flora also lost, in very close matches. Flora (age 13) actually lost to a 14 year-old French girl who is an absolute high flyer in French junior tennis, 6-4 6-7(5) 7-5, so well done to her. 

In the doubles, last week's winners, Hep and FLora lost out.

But Lara & Lucy, and Jade Cole & high-flyer French girl are into the SFs.

In Accra, J5:

Hep won her match in three sets and is into the semis, playing the girl who beat her last week in the final.

Both our doubles pairs lost their semis


In Tunisia, J5:

Roan Jones, Will Jansen and Imogen Hadda all won their R2 matches and are into the QF

But Tabitha and Sofia lost out.

Mia got the better of our young Hep once again - but a LOT closer this time.

SF Ghana: Hep lost 4-6 6-7(15) (!!!)

Tunisia, J5:

Decent day for Will Jansen who won his singles and doubles and is into the semis in both

Roan, unfortunately, lost in both.

Imogen also lost her singles.

 

ADD: Fabio Nestola is into the dubs SF in Egypt, J4

Will lost his singles semi but is into the final of the doubles.

Ghana, J5:

Just to note that the young Austrian girl who's beaten Hep twice now took the title once again, and far more easily than her win over Hep.
