Sonay has been the betting favourite in every match this week, including vs Freya, so in that respect, could have been expected to top the group when the draws were made, however, a more general consensus on here might have probably expected a Freya vs Eliz semi final, which is what we'll almost certainly get, but just the other way round in terms of group positions. Bit of a shame for Sonay to go 5/5 to top the group, and then get Emily in the semi final, but it is what it is, and that would be a battle of 2 in form players - Sonay with 15 straight wins, Emily 18-1 in 2021.
More than a breeze - swept away in a 33 minute gale 0 & 0
Three matches left, but it will be a while before the last two are started, let alone completed
Millie beat Jizel 6-4 6-0. Didn't see any of it, but have just saw that Jizel was 4-2*, and had a game point at *4-3, but then didn't win another game, so a bit like yesterday when she was 4-3 on serve with Emily in the early stages.
So that should be pretty much everything decided in terms of positions, baring any big big surprises in the final 2 matches - Nadia would need to beat Freya, AND Danielle to lose to Kim, one of them would have to be in straight sets as well, for Danielle and Nadia to swap their current respective 4th and 5th positions. Annali presumably taking 4th place in the other group for being ever present, despite taking just 12 games from her 5 defeats.

Ah, one thing it has confirmed is that Jizel has finished 4th, ahead of Annali. I didn't know how they would separate these with 3 being on 0 points, and thought Annali might have been given the benefit of the doubt simply for showing up, but it looks like they have probably gone for games won/lost difference, which would be a far better indicator IMO. Jizel won 10 games in her 2 defeats to Emily and Millie, whereas Annali won just 12 in 5 attempts, so Jizel does seem more capable, and it should now make for a slightly more evenly matches playoffs.

Nadia a very big favourite though. You could actually put a 10p 5 fold on the above fixtures and get a reasonably return.
Forgot Alice-Jizel had already started (I had to get those particular odds from tennisexplorer). Alice took the first set 7-5 after being *0-3 in the early stages, and is an early break up in the second. Looking like another strong start for Jizel before fading away a bit at this stage, as was the case in her 2 other matches, but she's definitely been a solid addition, and hopefully she will feature in future editions.
